Fundraise For Us

Help fund Lyme disease research

Nobody’s good at everything…. but everybody’s good at something.

Whatever your personal talent may be, there’s a way to use it to fundraise for Lyme disease research and have fun – or achieve a personal goal – at the same time.

Have you always dreamed of reaching the summit of Mount Snowdon or being an Ironman triathlete? Could you bake your way to fundraising success? Do you like organising events and parties? Are you a gifted gamer, musician, or handy with crafting?

Whether it’s a five-a-side football match, a small village festival or taking on a marathon run, there are loads of ways in which you could raise money for the charity.

Check out our fundraising pack for more ideas, tips, and handy information – or read on!

Why fundraise for us?

Lyme disease will be a cause that’s personal to you for a reason – it’s likely that either you or someone you care about has suffered.

Rachael ran the Vitality 10,000 to raise money for us in May 2019. Here she tells us his motivation for fundraising for the charity:

It took around nine years to get my diagnosis and treatment for Lyme disease, by which point it had caused absolute havoc in my body. This is something which I will have to live with forever, both physically and mentally.

But, if the correct research and training for NHS doctors is in place, my hope is that others will not have to suffer like I did and can be tested and treated immediately. The run was a huge ask on my body, but it is something I have always wanted to do to mark my recovery.”

Thank you

We’re so grateful that you would consider raising money for our cause. We wouldn’t be able to achieve the success that we do without our community fundraisers.
