Lyme Awareness Month 2021

May is Lyme Awareness Month! We have lots of content and activity planned to help educate and spread the word about Lyme disease.

But we need your help! Here’s you can get involved…….

Share

We’ll be posting various images, facts and and videos on social media throughout the month. Please share these to your friends, family and networks to help spread the word about Lyme disease.

Make sure you are following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Wear

lyme disease t-shirts

Buy and wear one of our amazing charity t-shirts, designed by people from the Lyme community – especially on Wear Lime for Lyme Day on Friday 7th May.

T-shirts are £19 and all profits go towards our Lyme disease research and awareness activities.

Or you can purchase one of our silicone awareness wrist bands, for just £5.

Host

Why not host a coffee morning with friends, neighbours or family?

Even during the pandemic it’s possible to do so safely!

You can keep it intimate, keep it virtual, or keep it outdoors. It’s up to you!

After 17th May, when lockdown restrictions ease even further, you can host more friends or even move it indoors, if you feel safe to do so.

Download our free coffee morning pack with tips on how to run a great event.

Fundraise

Why not take on your own fundraiser during the month?

If it’s your birthday during May, you could set up a Facebook Fundraiser and ask people to donate in honour of your big day. This is also a great way to draw attention to the cause.

Or, you could take on 5K May, or the Captain Tom Challenge.

Become a LifeLyme Member

This Lyme Awareness Month, why not take the plunge and become a LifeLyme member.

Show your commitment to improving NHS testing and treatment for Lyme disease by making a monthly gift to our research fund.

You’ll be joining an amazing bunch of people.

Thank you for your support!

If you would like to discuss any other ways of getting involved, please drop us an email at lymecocharity@caudwell.com, or call Rosie on 07342 882111.
