Our sincere thanks go to Karen & Hazel Watkins for hosting ‘Ladies in the LymeLight’ – a spectacular event which raised £2,215 for Caudwell LymeCo.
The night was a celebration of Herefordshire women filled with fun, fizz and sparkle, held in memory of beautiful Fizzy Watkins, daughter of Karen and niece of Hazel, who sadly took her own life in 2017 after suffering from Lyme disease.
Harts of Monmouth ignited the party with a catwalk, showcasing their beautiful lingerie and clothing ranges. Eight beautiful ladies bravely modelled on the catwalk; Karen Watkins, Debbie Owens, Sarah Jenkins, Becca Bowen, Emily Gourley, Abby Prater, Isy Manning and Hazel Watkins. Their courage was celebrated by resounding applause!
Harts of Monmouth conducted a lingerie fitting workshop whilst Whitestone County Store and The Great British Florist created wonderful pop up shops for the guests to browse and enjoy.
Ladies were pampered with manicures and massages by ladies from wonderful local companies Oasis Hair and Beauty, and Asako Kilpatrick.
Food and drink were provided in abundance from Juniper Bars, Mini Yaki’s and Isabel’s Bakehouse. Beautiful music from the very talented Lucy Allen set the vibe.
The raffle table and goodie bags overflowed with generously donated prizes by many local businesses. A wonderful night was had by all and love for Fizzy spilled through the party.
Tremendous thanks goes to The Great British Florist, No 28 Church Street, The Temple Bar, The Kilpeck Inn, artist Janet Jay, Hayloft Beauty, Chase Distillery, Tyrell’s Popcorn, Herb Farmacy, Trevase Farm Holiday cottages, Whitestone County Store, Natalie’s Beauty Salon, Harts of Monmouth, Lyde Arundel and everyone who donated, shopped, clapped and cheered the evening along.
